We securely store your saved portfolio, seen lists, and basic demographic data (such as Age and Zodiac sign) exclusively to power the concierge matchmaking algorithm.
Our platform uses Google Analytics and Google AdSense to fund the servers. These services may use cookies to serve personalized ads.
We keep title action history and permanent recommendation exclusions to avoid recommending titles you already saved, watched, loved or declined. Signed-in account preferences are synchronized through Supabase; this device also keeps account-specific history and installed-app update state. Removing an item from a watch list does not remove its recommendation exclusion.
On supported devices, passkey authentication is handled by your device or password manager and Supabase. Only public-key credential metadata is stored by the authentication service. MatchApp never receives or stores biometric data or device PINs.
Your private friends invite link and online status are disabled until you enable them. A friend request requires mutual approval. Approved friends can see your chosen alias, optional online status and shared match results, but not your email, real profile photo or private watch history. Online status expires after inactivity. Friend avatars are original illustrations selected by each list owner. Sharing an invitation or match card is voluntary and goes only to the destination you choose.
